During the advent of British Colonials, (1700’s) came the exploitation new frontiers of the ‘New World of the Americas’ was in full focus! Britain took advantage along with fishing grounds of Eastern Provinces of Canada, (Newfoundland). Adventurous crossings of Atlantic trade, establishing our Island, situated in the Bay of Mt. Michel, south of the English Channel. Jersey became the entry port of free tax merchandise to Great Britain during the18th Century. Explore how Jersey unfolds its heritage through those early days.
