Required to pass a core knowledge examination on the Jersey way of life, history and culture;

Trained in presentation, safety, crowd control and how to deal with the unexpected;

Make their presentations entertaining, informative, relevant, up-to-date and flexible to

meet individual needs and changing circumstances; trained in guiding individual visitors or groups,

both leisure and business; reliable and professional;

We carry public liability insurance and legal liability for third party injury or property damage, arising during the course of their tour guiding activities;

hold accolade, recognised as the highest guiding qualification in Britain.

Once awarded, the holder agrees to abide by a professional Code of Conduct;

maintain and enhance their knowledge and skills through Continuous Professional Development.
