Overview
Over the centuries Jersey has always been a 'Fofrtified Island rock, with fortifications, whether from Stone Age up to World War II. "The Eagle has Landed", which was the vision of Hitler, occupying these islands, to protect the western coast of Normandy France. With some 6% of the 'Atlantic Wall' fortifications invested on Jersey Island.

With over 300 WW11 German-occupied concrete bunkers, easily seen. Capture your sights on how Jersey people were imprisoned within their own island. The Channel Islands were the last place in Europe to be 'Liberated'!
