Visit the British SpyMaster’s headquarters during the French Revolution. From the North of the island, we explore the links with the Dukes of Normandy, as we are not quite as it seems, since 1204. Always independent from England, only allegiance to ‘Our Duke the King’. (Sovereign of Great Britain).
Itinerary
St. Helier's town walk starts off with a visit to Elizabeth Castle. East coast to Gorey harbour with Mont Orgueil Castle. Wild West of Jersey, facing the Atlantic, bringing our relationship with America. Site of numerous - WWII. German occupation 'Bunkers'.
